Introduction

These papers were deposited into the Archives by
Elizabeth Showalter, Harrisonburg, Virginia, in 1991-92, and
in 1996.

These papers have been gone through by Ann Wenger,
Goshen College, 1994-96. The materials have been
transferred into acid-free files and boxes, and have been
organized chronologically. Certain sections of the files
have been marked restricted, as indicated.
