Shenk's journal over 6,000 pages and dates from
December 17, 1980 to 1994. An index to the journal (94
pages) is available in Box 1. Permission to use the journal
must be secured from Stanley Shenk, Goshen, Indiana.

The last box contains various papers including an
abstract of Shenk's thesis on Mennonites in American Novels,
1900-1970, correspondence with some novelists, and
information on Shenk family, etc.
