Guide to the
Archives of the Mennonite Church
The Historical Committee and
Archives holds the official records of the program boards and
agencies of the Mennonite Church, whose headquarters are in Elkhart,
Indiana. The Mennonite Church as an organization dates back to
1898 when it began holding biennial conferences. The Archives
also holds personal papers from individuals and records from
some inter-Mennonite organizations, such as the Mennonite Central
